The Clean & Jerk: Optimizing Power and Stability

$75.00

Strength is a prerequisite for weightlifting, but technical efficiency is the driver of performance. Many athletes plateau not due to a lack of power, but due to energy leaks in their pull or instability in their overhead lockout.

In this hands-on clinic, USAW-Certified Coach Stephen Burba will deconstruct the Clean & Jerk. We will focus on the timing of the drive and the structural integrity required to support heavy loads. This session is designed for athletes seeking to refine their movement patterns and coaches aiming to improve their instructional eye.

Outcome: Each participant will receive individual coaching on their lift execution, providing a roadmap for continued progress and consistent performance.

Event Details:

  • Date: Saturday, January 31st

  • Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

  • Location: Bowling Green Powerhouse

  • Address: 148 Dishman Ln, Bowling Green, KY 42101
